This resource provides perspective on a changing, unpredictable and dynamic workforce and the importance of navigating labour market information in the career exploration process.   

 

The Employment Development Agency provides post-secondary students and job seekers with access to job opportunities and information on initiatives intended to foster economic growth in rural communities. 

 

The Employment Journey on PEI is a monthly publication available to residents and businesses on PEI. This publication features a guide to support job seekers, job postings, career/ employment stories from post-secondary graduates, industry profiles, skills in demand and more. 

 

Innovation PEI is committed to economic growth in Prince Edward Island. They have a staff of business development officers available across the island who can support aspiring entrepreneurs with their start-up ideas. Services and supports include professional development, business planning and financial assistance. 

 

The Startup Zone is a business incubator that offers expertise and programming to support entrepreneurs with their business ideas. They offer a Resident Company Program as well as an Accelerator Program, and additional services that include mentoring, business model development, seminars, meeting spaces, networking opportunities, and more. 


Work PEI is an online platform that offers “one stop” access to employment opportunities in Prince Edward Island. This includes a job board that can match job seekers to job vacancies and employers. When you register with Work PEI you have access to information on training programs, financial assistance and labour market information.
